On August 26, The Philosopher Kings screened for approximately 1,400 Ithacans eager to see the movie which had been buzzed about by all the major media outlets in the Ithaca, NY community. A private screening for over 600 Cornell custodians was preceded by a public showing at Bailey Hall, Cornell's largest and recently renovated auditorium. Rob Osborn, Director of Cornell Building Care, called the film "brilliant and profound. This documentary is going to bring custodians around the country into the forefront of our society in the most beautiful way. This is going to elevate the whole profession."
